Larry was born October 13, 1946, the oldest of four children. He was raised on a small farm outside of Coldwater, Michigan and later would attend Michigan State University in East Lansing, earning a BA and MA.
After thirty-one years as a classroom teacher and athletic coach, he retired and now is an adjunct instructor in Social Studies at Baker College in Owosso. He has been a Fulbright Scholar twice and traveled several times to Europe and Asia.
He lives in the same rural house for the last thirty years that needs constant attention and repair. He and his wife, Jo Marie, have raised four children which are his true masterpieces. His goals now are to travel, write, and not to miss any meals.
